Shelley Richardson - Fine Jeweller
Bringing your ideas to life can be daunting,
so we talk, preferably over a cup of coffee, and I like to work with you by sketching out designs
using a pencil and paper with an eraser to hand.
From a handcrafted engagement ring to reworking gemstones from much loved, but no longer worn jewellery, I will create your unique piece. A large selection of gemstones is available for you to make your choice.
A wedding ring to fit alongside your engagement ring is a very popular idea, with the option to add an eternity ring at a later date. Unusual shapes are always welcome.
I have years of experience restoring old pieces. Gifted gold with sentimental value can be integrated into a new design. Adapting old jewellery into a new piece can be inspiring. For instance making an earring into a bracelet or pendant or converting a brooches to clasp for a string of pearls.
The possibilities are endless....

A bit about me. I was naturally attracted to Art College, where I spent 2 years discovering many areas of art and design, my favourite was undoubtedly jewellery making. I loved the intricacy and clean polished finish of precious metals and the colours of gemstones, vibrant and subtle.
My training as a Goldsmith was at the Birmingham School of Jewellery and Silversmithing for 3 years, specialising in design and traditional diamond mounting.
For 20 years I had my workshop at a renowned antique jewellery business in Cheltenham, restoring and repairing antique pieces and designing bespoke commissions for clients in gold and platinum with diamonds, sapphires and other precious and semi-precious stones.
Now, whatever your jewellery needs, give me a call at my workshop in the
heart of the Cotswolds, in the pretty market town of Stow on the Wold.
